Google Maps is beta testing a redesigned Wear OS app using the Material 3 Expressive style ahead of Wear OS 6. The update replaces the old pill list with a more dynamic layout featuring two rows of shortcuts, a teal color theme, and improved space efficiency. Users get quick access to Home, Work, Recents, popular search categories, Offline maps and more. The new design appears in version 25.24 and offers a livelier, more functional interface.
