Huawei led the global wearables market in Q1 2025 with 10 million shipments and a 21.9% market share, growing 42.4% year-on-year, according to IDC China. Xiaomi followed with 8.7 million units and the highest growth at 42.6%. Apple came third with 7 million units (15.5% share), while Samsung and Garmin rounded out the top five. The global market grew 10.5% to 45.6 million units, driven largely by China, which saw a 37.6% increase due to government subsidies. IDC predicts China’s wristwear market will grow 36.9% year-over-year in 2025.
