Huawei has launched its Pura 80 series in China, with the flagship Pura 80 Ultra featuring a unique dual-lens telephoto camera that uses a single sensor and a movable prism to switch between 3.7x and 9.4x optical zoom. This design saves space and cost by avoiding multiple sensors. The Ultra also includes a 50MP main camera, 40MP ultrawide, 6.8-inch OLED display, 5,700mAh battery and up to 1TB storage, all running on HarmonyOS 5.1. The lineup includes three other models — Pura 80, 80 Pro and 80 Pro Plus — with similar designs and specs. The Ultra starts at CNY9,999 (~$1,390).
