Vivo has launched the X Fold 5 in China, a lightweight (217g), slim (9.2mm folded) foldable phone with standout features. It’s the first foldable to offer both dust (IP5X) and high-level water resistance (IPX8/IPX9). It packs a large 6,000mAh battery with 80W wired and 40W wireless charging and runs on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. The device features dual OLED screens, triple 50MP rear cameras, and unique Apple device integration, including Apple Watch and Mac support. Prices start at ¥6,999 (~$976), with a wider launch rumored.
