3D facial recognition coming soon to Android phones

A new report suggests that several Chinese smartphone makers are testing devices with under-display cameras and 3D facial recognition – features currently rare in Android phones. While Apple’s iPhones offer Face ID, only a few Android models, like the Honor Magic7 Pro, support 3D face scanning. A phone combining both under-screen cameras and 3D recognition could launch soon, though no specific brands or models have been confirmed yet.
