Apple sues Jon Prosser for his iOS 26 YouTube leaks

Apple has filed a lawsuit against leaker Jon Prosser, accusing him of misappropriating trade secrets and violating the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. The company claims Prosser collaborated with Michael Ramacciotti, who allegedly accessed a Development iPhone belonging to an Apple employee to leak details of iOS 19 (now iOS 26). Apple seeks damages, a jury trial, and an injunction. Prosser denies wrongdoing, stating he didn’t know how the information was obtained and looks forward to addressing the issue.
