Fairphone 6 gets a 10/10 on repairability

The new Fairphone 6 is smaller, more modular and just as repairable as its predecessors, earning a perfect 10/10 from iFixit. While it no longer has a tool-free battery, it still allows easy repairs using just a T5 Torx screwdriver. Most parts, including cameras and USB-C port, are easily replaceable, with minimal glue used. It offers 7 years of Android updates, 8 years of security patches and a 5-year warranty. Specs are modest, with a Snapdragon 7S Gen 3 chip and basic dual cameras, but it features a 6.3″ LTPO OLED display. It costs €599 in Europe and $899 in the U.S., shipping in August.
