Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 8 Watch update, based on Wear OS 6, to the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2024), earlier than expected. Initially exclusive to the new Watch Ultra (2025), the update is now reaching users on T-Mobile, AT&T, and Google Fi in the U.S. and in Thailand. The 1.9GB update brings features like gesture controls, smarter notifications, improved sleep tracking, and personalized watch faces. Other models, like the Galaxy Watch 7, are still in beta and awaiting a full rollout.
