Honor launches the ‘world’s thinnest’ foldable

Honor has unveiled the Magic V5, claiming it’s the world’s thinnest foldable phone — at 8.8mm folded, excluding the raised camera bump. It slightly edges out the Oppo Find N5 in thinness and weight (217g), though the thick camera module tempers the claim. Despite the slim profile, the Magic V5 packs strong specs: Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, up to 16GB RAM, 5,820mAh battery, 120Hz LTPO OLED displays, wireless charging, and IP58/IP59 water and dust resistance. It goes to sale in China, global release coming “soon.”
