Samsung’s long-rumored tri-fold phone, likely called the Galaxy G Fold, is nearing production with a launch expected in Q4 2025. The company will produce it in small quantities, mainly for China and South Korea, to test market interest. A sneak peek may come at next week’s Samsung Unpacked, but a full reveal is unlikely.
Key specs include a 10-inch OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, and a camera setup similar to the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7, possibly featuring a 200MP main sensor. The phone is expected to be very expensive (over $2,900) and may have a smaller battery than rivals like the Huawei Mate XT.
