Apple has filed a lawsuit accusing former Apple Watch engineer Chen Shi of stealing trade secrets for OPPO before leaving the company. Apple claims Shi secretly collected sensitive health-sensing research and downloaded 63 protected documents just days before his departure, later joining OPPO’s Silicon Valley lab. Apple argues OPPO knew and encouraged the actions.
OPPO denied the allegations, stating it respects trade secrets, has not misappropriated Apple’s IP and will cooperate with the legal process.
