Counterpoint Research reports Europe’s foldable phone shipments grew 37% in 2024, with book-style models driving 60% YoY growth. Samsung’s market share fell from 98% in 2022 to 50% in 2024, as Honor surged to 34% with 377% growth, followed by Google (9%), Oppo (4%), and Tecno (2%). Foldables are expected to capture a bigger share of the premium segment from 2025, reaching nearly 4 million annual sales in Europe by 2028 and about 10% of premium phone sales in key markets.
