Google introduced new Pixel 10 series phones, now with magnets

Google has unveiled the Pixel 10 series at its August 20 event, introducing the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the foldable Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The lineup keeps last year’s pricing, starting at $799, with pre-orders open now and general availability on August 28.

The new phones bring brighter Actua and Super Actua displays, upgraded cameras with 5x telephoto zoom (and up to 100x Pro Res Zoom on Pro models), and the new Tensor G5 chip built on a 3nm process for faster, more efficient AI performance. Battery capacities have been slightly boosted, with faster 30W/45W wired charging and new Qi2 wireless charging (15W on Pixel 10/Pro, 25W on Pro XL).

Running Android 16 with seven years of updates, the Pixel 10 series also debuts AI-powered features like Gemini Live, real-time call translation, Magic Cue assistant, and the new Pixel Journal app. US models are eSIM-only, while the rest of the world keeps a physical SIM option.

Available in fresh colorways like Indigo, Lemongrass, and Jade, the Pixel 10 lineup refines last year’s design while pushing forward in performance, battery life, and AI smarts.
