Xiaomi posts record-high revenue

Xiaomi posted another strong quarter in Q2 2025, with record revenue of CNY 116B (+30.5% YoY) and net profit of CNY 10.8B (+75.4% YoY). This marks its fifth straight quarter of 30%+ growth and third consecutive quarter above CNY 100B revenue.

Smartphones remain Xiaomi’s largest business with 42.4M units shipped (–0.2% YoY), keeping it the #3 global vendor. While ASP fell 2.7% YoY, premium phone sales in China rose to 27.6%. Tablets grew 42.3% YoY, wearables held top global rankings, and the company launched new Smart Glasses.

Xiaomi’s EV division delivered 81,302 units in Q2, surpassing 300,000 total since launch, with July sales topping 30,000. Appliances also surged, with ACs +60% YoY, washing machines +45%, and refrigerators +25%.

The Smart EV, AI & New Initiatives segment is close to breaking even, with losses shrinking to CNY 0.3B. R&D spending jumped 41.2% YoY, on track to hit CNY 30B this year, funding new chipsets, EV tech, and AI projects.
