Amazon is working on two pairs of AR glasses

Amazon is reportedly developing two AR glasses under the codename Jayhawk — one for its delivery drivers and a smaller, color-screen version for consumers. Both will have a single-eye display, camera, speakers and microphones. The driver-focused model could debut in Q2 2026, while the consumer version may arrive later in 2026 or 2027. Pricing is unknown but could be under $1,000. This marks Amazon’s biggest AR push since Echo Frames, putting it in competition with Meta and Google.
