Apple is testing a revamped Siri with an internal chatbot called Veritas, similar to ChatGPT and Gemini. Veritas lets employees trial features like searching personal data and performing in-app actions but isn’t planned for public release. Apple has faced delays with next-gen Siri and lukewarm feedback on Apple Intelligence and may instead lean on Google’s Gemini for AI-powered search.
