Apple has released iOS 26, featuring a new Liquid Glass design with translucent UI elements. Key additions include Live Translation for Messages, FaceTime, calls and AirPods, plus automatic call answering and text screening for unknown numbers. Group chats now get typing indicators, polls, and custom backgrounds. Apple is also launching a Games app as a gaming hub. iPadOS 26 brings the same design, improved multitasking with resizable windows, and new Files and Preview apps.
