Nothing is working on smart-glasses

Nothing has raised $200M in Series C funding, boosting its valuation to $1.3B, and CEO Carl Pei shared plans to move beyond smartphones. Pei says phones have “barely evolved” and envisions a future with personalized operating systems across devices like smart glasses, wearables, robots and EVs. He believes smartphones will soon be replaced by easier, faster-to-access gadgets such as AI pins and AR glasses. With rivals like Meta and Samsung pushing XR products, Nothing aims to capitalize on this shift — though success will depend on pricing its future devices competitively.
