Polar Loop fitness band does not have a subscription fee

Polar has launched the Polar Loop, a discreet, screen-free fitness wearable priced at $199 (€179 in Europe). Competing with Whoop, it tracks steps, activity, heart rate, sleep and recovery using Polar’s Precision Prime sensors. The band offers up to 8 days of battery, 4 weeks of memory, and comes in three colors with swappable bands. Unlike Whoop, all features are included with no subscription and Polar emphasizes strong privacy protections. Pre-orders are open now, with shipping starting September 10.
