Samsung will launch Project Moohan headset on October 21

Samsung will reportedly launch its Android XR headset, codenamed Project Moohan, on October 21 (October 22 in Korea) via an online event. The reveal will cover specs and features, with sales beginning soon after.

The launch was delayed from the rumored September 29 date for marketing and quality assurance reasons, and Samsung is expected to produce around 100,000 units initially, adjusting based on demand.

Samsung’s tri-fold phone is expected later in October or November, while its XR glasses with Google are slated for early next year. Early hands-on impressions praised Project Moohan’s premium build, comfort and controller-free navigation, though software performance remains to be seen.
