Xiaomi has teased the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max, the first phones with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chips. The highlight is a new “Magic Back Screen” — a secondary rear display for clock faces, selfies, app info and more. This is a bigger leap from the Mi 11 Ultra’s tiny rear panel. The phones also feature Leica-branded cameras, confirming another Xiaomi–Leica collaboration. Launch is expected later this month.
