Zoom will soon let users create photorealistic AI avatars to attend meetings when they’re not “camera-ready.” Launching in December for Workplace users, the feature generates an avatar from a photo, lets you choose outfits, and tracks your movements in real time. Live camera authentication and on-screen notices will confirm when an avatar is being used.
The update also brings real-time voice translation in nine languages and an upgraded AI assistant that can schedule meetings, make clips, and even join in-person meetings or other platforms like Teams and Meet to take notes.
