Apple has announced an upgraded Vision Pro headset powered by the M5 chip, launching October 22 for the same $3,499 price. The new chip delivers 10% more display pixels, up to 120Hz refresh rate, 50% faster AI processing and about 30 minutes longer battery life.
Apple also introduced a new Dual Knit Band for improved comfort, featuring an adjustable dial and three size options, sold separately for $99 and compatible with the original M2 Vision Pro.
The refresh comes as Apple adds live immersive sports to Vision Pro and faces competition from Samsung’s Project Moohan, debuting a day earlier.
