Disney channels vanished from YouTube TV

YouTube TV has dropped 21 Disney-owned channels, including ABC, ESPN, FX, Freeform and Disney Channel, after Google and Disney failed to renew their contract by the October 30 deadline. All live, recorded, and on-demand content from these networks has gone dark.

Google says it refused Disney’s proposed terms, claiming they would “disadvantage our members while benefiting Disney’s own live TV products.” If the blackout continues, subscribers will receive a $20 credit and can still access ESPN content via Disney’s standalone services.

Negotiations are ongoing, but it’s unclear when — or if — the channels will return.
