The US Supreme Court has rejected Google’s request to delay enforcing major changes from the Epic Games antitrust case. As a result, Google now has 14 days to overhaul its Play Store policies in the US. The company must allow app links to external downloads, permit alternative billing systems and stop exclusive deals with phone makers and carriers. Google says the order risks user safety but will continue its appeal, with a full filing due by October 27. Additional requirements – like allowing rival app stores – take effect in July 2026.
