Honor has unveiled its “Robot Phone” concept — a smartphone with an AI-powered, gimbal-mounted camera that unfolds from the back and can move, rotate and film autonomously in any direction.
Shown only in a CGI teaser, the device features a thick body and a camera arm that flips up to take selfies or track motion, resembling a mini DJI Osmo Pocket. Honor says the Robot Phone represents a future where phones act as “emotional companions” that sense and adapt to users.
More details — and possibly real hardware — are expected at Mobile World Congress next spring.
