iPhone 20 to drop all traditional buttons

A new leak claims the iPhone 20 series, expected in 2027 for the iPhone’s 20th anniversary, will eliminate all physical buttons, replacing them with capacitive solid-state controls that provide localized haptic feedback.

Apple is also reportedly planning a major redesign and introducing a new camera sensor type for the milestone lineup — marking one of the biggest hardware changes in years.
