Netflix, Amazon and Apple are reportedly exploring bids to acquire all or parts of Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), according to Bloomberg. The company, which owns HBO, CNN, DC Studios and Warner Bros. Pictures, has begun a formal review after receiving multiple unsolicited offers.
WBD has already rejected three proposals from Paramount, including one valued at $24 per share, and is now preparing to share financial data with interested buyers under nondisclosure agreements.
As WBD plans to separate its cable and streaming divisions next year, a full acquisition may be difficult — but tech giants could still target specific assets like content libraries or production units.
