OnePlus has officially unveiled OxygenOS 16, debuting with the upcoming OnePlus 15 and entering open beta on October 17.
The update brings a major redesign heavily inspired by iOS, featuring rounded translucent controls, an App Library-style drawer, and new “Breath with You” design language. It also expands AI integration, adding tools like AI Scan, Gemini-powered Mind Space, and AI writing assistants.
OxygenOS 16 further enhances Cross-Ecosystem Connectivity, even allowing Apple Watch pairing via OHealth — though this may face Apple restrictions. Despite its modern look, critics note that OxygenOS 16 feels derivative of iOS and lacks distinctive innovation.
