Google has confirmed that always-on Media Controls are coming soon to Wear OS 6 on the Pixel Watch 4, 3 and 2. The feature will let playback controls stay visible in ambient mode, fading into a minimalist black design similar to Google Maps and Keep.
It’s not live yet, but Google says the update should arrive later this year, likely with the December Pixel Watch update.
Google also plans to simplify Gemini account switching on Wear OS, which currently requires re-setup through your phone.
