During its Q3 2025 earnings call, Samsung confirmed that the upcoming Galaxy S26 series will introduce next-gen AI, a second-generation custom chip (AP) and new camera sensors for stronger performance.
The lineup is expected to use a dual-chip strategy — Samsung’s new 2nm Exynos 2600 in select regions and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 elsewhere. Chip evaluations are still underway.
Samsung also plans to expand AI-driven health features in Galaxy Watches, grow its TWS earbud lineup, and continue innovating foldables after strong Galaxy Z Fold7 sales.
Looking ahead, Samsung aims to lead in AI smartphones and new form factors through 2026, while warning that rising component costs could increase phone prices.
