According to a tipster, the delay is linked to changes in the Galaxy S26 lineup — specifically the return of the S26+, which was previously canceled in favor of the S26 Edge. With development taking longer, the Galaxy S26 launch may slip to March 2026, pushing back One UI 8.5’s debut as well.
