Samsung is developing a world-first smartwatch feature to detect Left Ventricular Systolic Dysfunction (LVSD), a deadly heart condition linked to half of all heart failure cases. Built with Medical AI’s ECG algorithms, it enables early screening and diagnosis. Samsung is also testing an around-the-ear EEG prototype for brainwave monitoring, with potential uses in health, neuromarketing and entertainment. No release dates yet.
