Keyboard maker Akko has launched the MetaKey, a $59.99 keyboard case for the iPhone 16 Pro Max (and $69.99 for the 17 Pro Max). It resembles Clicks’ BlackBerry-style cases but is cheaper and adds useful upgrades.
The MetaKey connects via USB-C, includes backlit keys, shortcut buttons, MagSafe support, and even a 9g weight to balance the phone while typing. Available in multiple colors, it lets users type without the on-screen keyboard taking up space.
Meanwhile, Clicks has released slimmer, lighter versions of its own iPhone 17 cases priced from $139 to $159.
