Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series continues to shift ahead of launch. Earlier rumors suggested a new S26 Edge and smaller S26 Pro, but both appear scrapped. However, a new report from Galaxy Club claims Samsung is developing a slimmer device codenamed “More Slim,” possibly reviving its ultra-thin smartphone ambitions later in 2026.
The company may have replaced the canceled Edge with a standard S26+, keeping the lineup similar to this year’s. The move follows the Galaxy S25 Edge’s poor sales, delayed launch, and weak battery life, which left the model struggling against both Apple and Samsung’s own foldables.
If Samsung does release a thinner successor, it risks repeating the same mistakes — a late debut, awkward pricing, and trade-offs in battery or features — in a market that’s already showing limited demand for ultra-slim flagships.
