Apple’s new iOS 26.1 beta adds a setting to adjust the transparency of its “Liquid Glass” design. Users can now choose between “Clear” and “Tinted” modes under Settings > Display & Brightness > Liquid Glass, allowing for more or less frosted visuals.
The feature also appears in the latest iPadOS 26.1 and macOS 26.1 betas. In addition, iOS 26.1 introduces a new privacy option to disable swiping to open the camera from the lock screen, found under Settings > Camera > Lock Screen Swipe to Open Camera.
