The launch of the Trump Mobile T1 smartphone has been delayed. Originally promised for August or September, the $499 gold-tinted device is now listed as coming “later this year.”
Specs have shifted too: the screen shrank to 6.25 inches, and the quirky “5000mAh long life camera” is gone. Despite marketing claims, the T1 is not made in the USA, though Trump Mobile says it was “designed with American values.”
Buyers who paid the $100 deposit are still waiting, with no firm release date in sight.
