At its US Creator Summit, TikTok unveiled three new features: Smart Split, AI Outline and an updated revenue program for creators.
Smart Split uses AI to automatically cut long videos — like podcasts or daily vlogs — into short clips with captions and vertical framing. It’s now available globally via TikTok Studio Web.
AI Outline helps creators plan content by generating video titles, hashtags, hooks, and scripts from prompts or trending topics. It’s initially rolling out to users 18+ in the US, Canada, and select markets.
Finally, TikTok is increasing subscription revenue shares from 70% up to 90% for qualifying creators with 10,000+ followers, 100,000 monthly views, and three subscription videos per month.
