Ford is joining Amazon’s new car-buying platform, letting customers browse, finance and purchase certified pre-owned Ford vehicles online, with pickup at local dealerships. Ford is the second brand on Amazon Autos after Hyundai, though it’s launching only in Los Angeles, Seattle and Dallas for now. Dealers still control pricing, service and delivery, while Amazon acts as the middleman connecting them to millions of shoppers. All vehicles are certified pre-owned and backed by Ford’s warranties and roadside assistance. More markets are expected to be added soon.
