Apple pulled new hit series due to intellectual property concerns

Apple TV has abruptly removed The Hunt from its release schedule and deleted nearly all marketing materials. The show was set to premiere on December 3, but a report claims it was pulled after allegations that the screenwriter plagiarized a 1973 novel (La Traqué). Both Apple and production company Gaumont are reportedly considering legal action. Unlike another delayed Apple series (Savant), Apple has given no indication that The Hunt will return. Gaumont has since confirmed the cancellation was due to intellectual property concerns.
