Google has launched Gemini 3, its most advanced AI model yet, along with a new Gemini Agent tool. Gemini 3 delivers major upgrades in reasoning, coding, multimodal analysis and overall prompt understanding, tackling harder puzzles, math problems and complex coding tasks. Responses from Gemini 3 Pro are designed to be smarter and more concise, acting as a true “thought partner.”
The model also excels at vibe coding and can generate rich, interactive web UIs. New features include generative interfaces with magazine-style visual layouts and real-time dynamic UI creation. Gemini 3 Pro has a January 2025 knowledge cutoff and supports up to a 1-million-token context window.
Gemini 3 Pro is now in preview across the Gemini app, AI Mode in Google Search (for AI Pro/Ultra users), the Gemini API, Google Antigravity, Gemini CLI, Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise. Google is also giving US college students a free year of Google AI Pro and testing an advanced reasoning mode called Gemini 3 Deep Think before wider release.
