Google’s latest Quick Share update now enables true cross-platform sharing between Android and iPhone. AirDrop can send files directly from an iPhone to a Pixel 10 just like to another Apple device — the Pixel simply appears in the AirDrop list. Android users only need to enable “Everyone for 10 minutes” in Quick Share or tap Receive to be visible. The feature uses a secure, direct peer-to-peer connection with no data logged. It’s rolling out first to Pixel 10 devices, with more Android phones coming soon, and Google hopes to eventually support AirDrop’s Contacts Only mode if Apple allows it.
