Nothing OS 4.0 will roll out this week

Nothing has confirmed that Nothing OS 4.0, its Android 16–based update called Flow, will officially launch and begin rolling out on November 21. After months of waiting and an open beta that started in October, the stable release is finally ready.

The expected first devices to receive it include the Nothing Phone 2, 2a, 2a Plus, 3, 3a and 3a Pro, with possible support for newer models like the 3a Lite and CMF-branded phones.

Nothing OS 4.0 adds several Android 16 improvements plus new AI-driven features: Extra Dark Mode, Pop-Up View, a new 2×2 quick settings tile, two new lock-screen clocks, Essential Apps widgets and the “Stretch” camera mode for the Phone 2 series. The controversial Lock Glimpse feature is also included but disabled by default on the 3a lineup.

The stable update will start reaching supported phones later this week.
