Sony has officially unveiled LYTIA-901, its first 200MP smartphone camera sensor. The 1/1.12-inch sensor with 0.7µm pixels is larger than Samsung’s HP2 (used in Galaxy S25 Ultra), promising better light intake and improved image quality. It supports all-pixel autofocus, up to 4× in-sensor zoom, 16-in-1 pixel binning, and new AI remosaicing for sharper zoom. The sensor also offers advanced DCG-HDR and HF-HDR, delivering over 100 dB dynamic range.
LYTIA-901 is now in mass production, with OPPO Find X9 Ultra and vivo X300 Ultra expected to be among the first phones using it in 2026.
