Tinder is testing an AI-powered “Chemistry” feature

Tinder is testing a new AI-powered “Chemistry” feature that analyzes users’ camera roll photos and asks interactive questions to find more compatible matches and reduce “swipe fatigue.”

The feature, currently live in New Zealand and Australia, is opt-in and set to become a core part of Tinder’s 2026 experience.

While the AI access to personal photos may raise privacy concerns, Match Group hopes it will help boost engagement after a two-year drop in paid subscribers.
