Samsung’s first dual-folding phone, the Galaxy Z TriFold, comes with extremely high repair costs. Replacing the folding display reportedly costs up to ~$1,240 – roughly the price of a new Galaxy S25 Ultra – while the cover screen repair is far cheaper. Even with Samsung’s one-time 50% display repair discount, fixing a broken TriFold would still cost at least ~$550, making durability a major concern for owners.
