Google is launching Android Emergency Live Video, a new safety feature that lets emergency dispatchers request a secure live video feed from your phone during a crisis. Users can accept or decline the request and stop streaming at any time, but they cannot start a video on their own. The feature works on any Android device running Android 8 or later and is now rolling out in the US and parts of Germany and Mexico, with more regions to follow as Google partners with public safety agencies.
