Google is preparing major new gesture controls for the Pixel Watch, according to code found in the latest Pixel Watch app. The update hints at a double-pinch gesture for answering calls, interacting with notifications, taking photos and more — similar to Apple and Samsung’s systems. Google also appears to be bringing back wrist-turn gestures to silence calls or dismiss alerts.
It’s unclear which Pixel Watch models will support the features or when they’ll launch, but this is the strongest sign yet that Google is planning a significant upgrade to gesture-based controls on Wear OS.
