Google has begun rolling out its 2025 Google Photos Recap, following the recent YouTube and YouTube Music Recaps. The feature will appear in the Memories carousel and the Collections tab, though availability may take a few days. To generate a Recap, users may need to enable photo and video backup, and creation can take about a day.
The 2025 Recap showcases your year’s standout photos with cinematic effects and easy sharing options. New this year, you can hide specific people or images, and Google Photos will produce a refreshed Recap within about 30 minutes.
