Google has outlined its vision for everyday Android XR glasses, moving beyond bulky headsets toward lightweight eyewear meant for all-day use. The roadmap includes audio-only smart glasses and monocular display glasses arriving around 2026, followed by full binocular XR glasses possibly in 2027, all powered by Gemini and unified under the Android XR platform.
